Greys Green Golf Course is still often called The Dog Golf Course, as it all started in Dog Field on Greys Green Farm
During the BBC TV coverage of the 2009 Scottish Open at the Loch Lomond course, on day three (8888July) Peter Allis had good things to say about Greys Green Golf Course, in the context of making golf available to everyone by charging realistic prices. Some of the details are a bit hazy but the general drift is spot on
